AUSTIN - On Saturday, November 9, 2019, State Rep. Ryan Guillen (D-Rural South Texas) will once again host his seasonal Listening Tour, which takes place every second Saturday in March, July, and November at a local Dairy Queen in all 10 county seats of District 31.

"This outreach program is very important to me, and gives our constituents across the district the opportunity to voice their thoughts and concerns," explained Guillen.

Guillen is excited to be back on the road talking issues and raising blood sugar levels with our fellow South Texans at a Dairy Queen near you. On November 9th, he will be traveling across South Texas stopping at local Dairy Queens to hear the thoughts, opinions, and concerns of local residents.

Below is a breakdown of the schedule:

Rio Grande City (7AM), Raymondville (9AM), Riviera (10:30AM), Falfurrias (11:30AM), Hebbronville (12:30PM), San Diego (1:45PM), George West (3PM), Tilden (Wheeler's Mercantile) (4PM), Jourdanton (5PM), Cotulla (6:30PM).

"We had a very successful session this go around, but there is still much left to do," said Guillen, "We are already working to prepare for the next one, and these discussions will help shape our game plan."

In addition to the Listening Tour, Guillen hosts a Student Legislative Session every year for local High School students in District 31 to provide the future leaders of our community with an inside look on how their state government works. The discourse provided during these events is invaluable.

Serving ten rural South Texas counties in the Texas House of Representatives, Ryan Guillen is known for his hard work, fierce independence, and relentless efforts for South Texas families. Recently, Capitol Inside called him a “House Bill Machine,” and a “one-person assembly line for legislation.” Since elected, few other legislators have passed more bills than Guillen.
